I think I figured out my key problem with Tumblr: you can’t tell who people are.
Any original posts get drowned amongst all the re logging. When people don’t write, you can’t tell if you’re gonna like them, get along with them, if you can trust them to read your opinions and not freak the fuck out.
There’s no Person behind a Tumblr, or it’s so much harder to find them.
The signal to noise ratio is atrocious on most Tumblogs.
What I’m saying, people, is write more original content!
